Dr. Maha Ahmed was born and raised in the Bay Area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Biology from the University of California, Davis. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences, graduating cum laude.
Dr. Ahmed received comprehensive clinical training through community health centers and private practices, providing her with experience caring for patients of all ages and diverse visual needs. She practices full-scope optometry, with clinical interests in primary eye care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and preventive eye health.
Dr. Ahmed is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and personalized eye care. She believes in building meaningful relationships with her patients and strives to ensure that every patient feels heard, comfortable, and confident in their eye health.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Ahmed enjoys running, exploring new places, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She is fluent in English and Urdu.
